Three drug arrests in Columbia County

PHILMONT, N.Y. -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office arrested three people on drug charges after executing a search warrant in Philmont on Sunday.

The SWAT team, deputy sheriffs, and investigators executed the search warrant at 23 Main Street where they seized 90 grams of cocaine and $2,600 in cash.

Lisa Perez, 26, of Philmont, Justin VanAlstyne, 25, of Valatie, and Heather Shook, 30, of Philmont were each charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, including one count for possession with intent to sell. Shook was also charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The three were arraigned and sent to the Columbia County Jail without bail.

The sheriff's office said additional charges are possible.
