WOODBURY, N.Y. -- Two people were killed in a two-car crash on Route 6 in the Town of Woodbury.

State Police said around 6 a.m., a van driven by Robert Crowley, 42, of Sidney Center was heading east on Route 6 when it crossed the double yellow line and hit an Infiniti driven by Raymond Singleton, 49, of Queens.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was reopened around noon.
