Drug arrests in Schenectady
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Schenectady police arrested a former teacher's aid after they said he bought drugs while a toddler was in his car.
According to police, Rozelle Tolbert drove up and bought marijuana from Marcus Young in the Hamilton Hill section of the city. He had a 3-year-old in the car with him at the time.
The Schenectady City School District said Tolbert has not worked in the district since 2004.
He is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Young is charged with criminal sale and unlawful possession of marijuana.
The child was turned over to a family member.
