EAST GREENBUSH, N.Y. -- A fire broke out Friday evening on Chestnut Court in East Greenbush. Fire officials say everyone made it out safe.
Firefighters didn't have to battle just the flames, but the heat too. You can see all the smoke here as firefighters put out the fire.
The summer temps made it a tough fight.
“It’s extremely warm today. We feel it’s tough for the firefighters to have to work in these conditions, but as you can see behind me, there’s a very fine turn out of firefighters volunteering for this effort,” said Ed Pratt, Public Information Officer for the Clinton Heights Fire Department.
Medical personnel were on scene assisting firefighters, making sure their blood pressure was okay and they stayed hydrated
