NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- It wouldn't be a Fourth of July without fireworks! The night sky will be lit up tonight in many places in the Hudson Valley, including Newburgh.

They will be launching fireworks from a barge on the Hudson River tonight, around 9 p.m. You may recall, last year's fireworks almost didn't happen. The community had to rally to raise funds to put together the display. Residents came up with more than $3,000 to save the show.

This year's show is sponsored by the Greater Newburgh Partnership, but they're still accepting donations.
