ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany's firework show is still hours away, but people are already staking out the perfect spot. The early birds set up chairs while they anxiously wait for tonight's big show. One resident says he knows the perfect spot.

"I like coming down each year because it gets better and better each year. If you don't get down here early, you don't get a good spot. You are way in the back," said Thomas Tuper, Colonie resident.

There are food vendors, music and much more leading up to the fireworks show.
