PITTSFIELD, N.Y. -- A Berkshire County man is hit by a 19-car train and survived. Pittsfield fire crews said they were called to the tracks on Silver Lake Boulevard near the William Stanley Business Park around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday.

That is where they found a man lying under one of the last cars on the train. Crews said that the man suffered serious injuries, but was still awake. Authorities have not yet released his name.
