Teen stabbed in Rotterdam
ROTTERDAM, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old was stabbed in Rotterdam early Saturday morning, and police said the husband of the young man's legal guardian is responsible. Officials said Brian Norton, 33, stabbed the victim three times at 60 Woodlawn Street.
A domestic dispute erupted between Norton and the young man, who authorities said used to live at the house as recently as April, and had returned to speak with Norton's wife. An argument erupted, and quickly turned violent.
The victim was treated at Ellis Hospital for non-life threatening injuries and is in stable condition. Norton was arraigned and sent to the Schenectady County Jail on $10,000 bail.
