Former Siena coach gets 7-year contract extension at Iowa
The University of Iowa obviously likes what former Siena Coach Fran McCaffery is doing because they are signing McCaffery to a seven-year contract extension.
The deal guarantees a minimum average of $1.66 million annually for the length of the contract.
McCaffery took over the struggling Iowa program grabbing 11 wins in his first season and bumping it up to 18 in his second year with the Hawkeyes.
The team returns three starters from last year's squad and his incoming recruiting class is in the top 20 in the nation.
