BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- The man accused of dragging a 67-year-old woman out of her car and trying to sexually assault her last month was arraigned Wednesday.

Police said the victim was sitting in her car near the intersection of Congress and South Franklin streets in Saratoga Springs around 4 a.m., waiting for her husband to get out of work. They said that's when Antonio Lopez-Bautista pulled her out of her car and attacked her.

A person who lived nearby heard her screaming and called 911.

Lopez-Bautista has been charged with kidnapping, attempted rape and assault. He is being held in Saratoga County Jail without bail.
