TROY, N.Y. -- Tuesday night's ValleyCats game will pay tribute to a local legend.

The 'Cats second "Tunes for Tuesday" will feature a tribute to the late Ernie Williams.

Williams died in March after spending the last 40 years making his mark on the Capital Region. Members of the Ernie Williams Band will be playing before the game, starting at 5:00 pm.

Organizers are tying together the blues and baseball with a little barbecue. There will be food and drink specials all night as the ValleyCats take on the Lowell Spinners.
