Seeber released from prison
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- The former Wilton woman who pleaded guilty to charges in connection with the death of her grandmother has been released from prison.
Katherine Seeber was sentenced to 14 years in prison last month for her guilty plea to manslaughter and burglary. With time already served, she was released on Monday.
Prosecutors said Seeber was involved in Ruth Witter's death and left her body in Saratoga National Historic Park in February of 2000. Seeber also stole Witter's jewelry.
