Man wanted for violated order of protection

SULLIVAN COUNTY, N.Y. -- Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a Grahamsville man who pled guilty to rape.

Paul Curry, 38, was awaiting sentencing when deputies say he violated an order of protection by contacting his 12-year-old victim.

Deputies say on Tuesday, when they went to Curry's home on State Route 55 in the Town of Neversink to arrest him on charges of criminal contempt and endangering the welfare of a child, he wasn't there. Deputies think Curry was tipped off about their warrant and he was able to run out the back door.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Sullivan County Sheriff’s office at (845) 794-7100.
