AMSTERDAM, N.Y. -- A Buddhist organization in Amsterdam is giving a gift to the city to hopefully prevent crimes, like the ones that happened to them.
They're giving Amsterdam 20 security cameras to be used across the city.
The Buddhist World Peace and Health Organization was the victim of several crimes in late 2010 and early 2011. Police said copper pipes and wiring were stolen from one of their buildings. They also had nine gold statues stolen as well as vandalism on some of their properties.
