Loch Sheldrake woman arrested on multiple charges

LIBERTY, N.Y. -- Village of Liberty Police arrested a Loch Sheldrake woman after police said she forced her way into a man's home and threatened him with a sword. Police said Jalessa Wright, 21, broke into the home of an acquaintance who owed her money.

Once inside, police said she damaged property including a television and a computer monitor. She then threatened the man with a Japanese sword, and chased him out of his house. Wright is charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and menacing. She was taken to Sullivan County Jail on $12,000 bail.
