PORT EWEN, N.Y. -- A Port Ewen man is arrested after police said he had numerous types of drugs in his apartment. Police said they received several complaints of possible drug sales on Lampman Avenue.

After investigating, police obtained a search warrant for the apartment on Friday afternoon, and discovered heroin, cocaine, prescription drugs, ecstasy, cash, and drug packaging material. Johnnie Wright, 43, was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Wright was taken to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
