NEW YORK -- Citizens Bank is making sure children have everything they need when they go back to school this fall. They're kicking off their "Gear for Grades" initiative today.
People can donate new school supplies like pencils, folders, glue, and notebooks at any Citizens Bank branch. Organizers say it is often hard for low income families to provide the essentials, and this drive helps.
2,500 low-income New York students will get new backpacks and school supplies through the program.
You can drop off any supplies to Citizen's bank from now until August 10th.
