SAND LAKE, N.Y. -- A Wynantskill man was killed in a motorcycle crash in the Town of Sand Lake Sunday night. It happened around 11 p.m. on Miller Hill Road.

According to State Police, Todd Denue, 36, was heading north when he went off the road, hit a mailbox, then went into a ditch. Denue was thrown from the bike and hit several trees.

A preliminary investigation found that unsafe speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash.
