TROY, N.Y. -- Habitat for Humanity Capital District will celebrate its merger with Rensselaer County by breaking ground on a new nine-home development in South Troy.
The new project is set to go up at the intersection of Burden Avenue and Cross Street. Habitat is working on a project in Albany as well this month.
The Troy project is called "Fox Hollow" in memory of Troy Attorney Seymour Fox who has provided many of the properties for this project. Officials said this is the largest project Habitat for Humanity has ever taken up in Troy.
