GUILDERLAND, N.Y. – Police have made an arrest after a Bank of America in Guilderland was robbed for the second time in as many weeks. The Western Avenue branch was robbed Thursday afternoon.
Police say Philip Watts, 23, walked into the bank and handed the teller a note. They did not disclose what that note said, but say Watts was able to walk away with cash.
Police caught up to him a short time later and recovered the money.
Watts is charged with burglary and larceny and was arraigned in Guilderland Town Court.
