15 people charged in cocaine bust
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Saratoga County man is one of 15 people arrested for selling large amounts of cocaine operating out of Syracuse. According to federal prosecutors, Timothy Dearborn, 46, of Greenfield Center was indicted by a federal grand jury with conspiring to possess with the intent to distribute and distributing over 500 grams of cocaine.
If convicted, Dearborn faces a maximum of 40 years in state prison, up to a $5 million fine, and at least four years of supervised release following any period of incarceration.
The other 14 suspects are from the Syracuse area.
Prosecutors say so far the cocaine bust has a street value of more than $500,000.
