TROY, N.Y. -- People brave the rain for beer, food, and live music in Troy. The third annual Capital Region Craft Brewer's Festival was held on Saturday. The event was hosted by the Tri-City ValleyCats at the Joe Bruno Stadium. Beer lovers were able to sample some fine ales and lager, and meet the brewers.
"With Browns, and Evandale, we have the Pump Station, the Van Dyck, Chatham Brewing, there's a whole number that are right in the Capital Region, and it's just a good opportunity to get people out and get them to try some of those different beers," said Matt Callahan, ValleyCats Assistant General Manager.
The event benefits the New York-Penn League Charitable Foundation with proceeds being used to help provide safe and well maintained baseball fields for children throughout the area.
