ULSTER COUNTY -- Some Hudson Valley residents are still feeling the effects of the recent severe storms. According to NYSEG's website, over 55 percent of customers in the town of Shawangunk are still without power. That amounts to about 1,200 of 2,200 customers.

A spokesperson for NYSEG said about 500 of those customers are being fed electricity from another source. The company said complete power is expected to be restored by early tonight.
