ALBANY, N.Y. -- A pedestrian walkway at Albany Medical Center has been reopened after it was hit by a truck Monday afternoon.
The truck hit the walkway over New Scotland Avenue shortly before two. Nobody was hurt in the incident.
Investigators said it's unclear what exactly caused the truck to hit the walkway, and they said they're not sure whether anyone was in the walkway at the time. Engineers had to be called in to determine whether the walkway was still safe.
Police have not said whether they issued any tickets to the driver. The road was reopened right around 6:00 pm on Monday.
