MASSACHUSETTS -- The Massachusetts State Senate is preparing to debate a healthcare bill on the last day of their formal session. Both the House and Senate are taking up the bill supporters say will save up to $200 billion over the next 15 years. They say it will also help guarantee the future of the state's landmark 2006 healthcare law.

The measure calls for the creation of "accountable care organizations'' which, among other steps, give residents better access to their medical records and cut down on unnecessary testing.

Both houses have to pass the bill today to get it to Governor Patrick's desk.
