KINGSTON, N.Y. -- Kingston City officials will discuss the problems surrounding two sinkholes at a press conference today. The issue is on Washington Avenue where two sinkholes, despite constant repair, continue to reopen.

The sinkholes could pose potential problems for underground pipes, including gas, water and sewer lines. They are also interrupting the flow of traffic affecting some nearby businesses.

Some are estimating the cost to permanently repair the road at over $1 million.
