SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The iconic blue Saratoga bottles will now be served at the presidential inauguration next year.
U/S. Senator Charles Schumer, who is the chairman of the inaugural ceremonies, shared the news at the plant on Friday. Schumer also got to tour bottling facility with staff from the Saratoga Spring Water Company.
The company's Chief Operating Officer says this is good news for business.
"We are very hopeful the exposure will give us a significant bump in sales when people see the blue bottle. They realize the history of the company and they decide to order an American water when they go out to eat or special occasions," said Saratoga Spring Water Company COO Adam Madkour.
The 57th presidential inauguration ceremonies takes place on Monday, January 21st, 2013.
