POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The husband and wife killed during a Poughkeepsie police chase last week are being remembered today. Calling hours for Shawn Wonderly and his wife Patricia will be held today from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the WIlliam Miller and Son Funeral Home in Poughkeepsie.

A mass will be held tomorrow at the Regina Ceoli Church, and a burial will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.

The accident happened after officers say they were trying to stop Ryan Floryan. After driving through a red light at the intersection of Baker Street and Worrall Avenue, police say Floryan's car slammed into the Wonderly's vehicle.

Both of their children, ages seven and eight, were riding in the back, but escaped the crash with minor wounds.

Police say at the time of the crash, Floryan was wanted for a parole violation and had two other pending warrants. He's now facing two counts of manslaughter in the second degree. He's scheduled to return to court tomorrow.
