ALBANY, N.Y. -- A well-known congressman's wife was sentenced in Albany City Court following a drunk driving arrest back in January.

Allison Lee-Hinchey, the wife of Rep. Maurice Hinchey's wife, was ordered to serve 60 days in jail.

She was arrested in Albany after police say she rear-ended a car at the intersection of Lark and Lancaster streets. Police said she had a blood alcohol content level of .14 when she was arrested.

Her arrest came the night before her husband made his announcement that he would not run for re-election this year.

Lee-Hinchey also received three years probation, she must pay a $500 fine, restitution to the owner of the damaged car, her license was revoked, and she must have an ignition interlock device installed in her vehicle. She must surrender to the Albany County Jail at 5 p.m.

Lee-Hinchey was also arrested in May 2011, accused of driving drunk.
