SCHOHARIE, N.Y. -- Tonight will be a night of music, dancing, and cocktails in Schoharie. It's all to help the recovery effort of several area communities affected by last year's flood.
The evening is to help raise money for the Schoharie Recovery’s administrative fund. Schoharie Recovery matches volunteers from all over the state with those in Schoharie County still rebuilding after Tropical Storm Irene and remnants of Lee.
The organization also helped cover some of the costs of materials for more than a hundred homes.
Tonight's event will be held at Wellington’s Herbs and Spices. Doors open at 6 p.m. and tickets run about $100 per person in advance, $125 at the door. And just a heads up, this is a 21 plus event.
