PLATTEKILL, N.Y. -- State police arrested a man in Plattekill for a criminal sexual offense, and upon investigation they say they found large amounts of marijuana in his possession.

Police received a 911 call for a domestic disturbance at the home of Alton Thomas, 50, in Clintondale. There, they found 22 marijuana plants and remnants of crack cocaine.

Thomas is also charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Plattekill Town Court and remanded to the Ulster County Jail with no bail.
