MONROE, N.Y. -- The so-called Monroe Madame is back in court today, her first time since getting out on bail. This comes after a report that Anna Gristina's associate may be taking a plea deal.
The woman accused of helping Gristina run a high-priced escort service has reportedly made a deal with prosecutors. Sources tell the Associated Press that Jaynie Baker reached an agreement to resolve the case. It's not clear if the deal requires her to testify against Gristina.
Records show a court date for this week was postponed to October. Lawyers for both sides are declining to comment.
Gristina is currently out on $250,000 bail.
