Two arrested on larceny charges

GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- Glenville police arrested two people they say were caught by a homeowner stealing two bicycles from his garage. Police say it happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday on Glen Avenue.

Police say Terrance Conley, 23, and Ayyub Lewis, 22, both of Schenectady, took off with the bikes, which were both worth $600.

Conley and Ayyub were eventually caught. Police say they also had a number of stolen credit cards, GPS units and iPods from other larcenies in the town. They were both arrested and charged with burglary, criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny.

Conley is being held on $60,000 bail. Ayyub is being held on no bail.
