TROY, N.Y. -- The victim of last week's fatal plane crash in Saratoga County has been laid to rest. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church on Pawling Avenue in Troy for Walter Uccellini, 67.

Hundreds lined up to pay their respects at the McLoughlin and Mason Funeral Home in Lansingburgh Monday.

Uccellini was a prominent businessman and developer. He founded the United Group, an organization that has built a number of college dorms upstate.

Uccellini was the passenger in the plane that crashed shortly after taking off from Albany International Airport last Wednesday. The plane went down in a yard in Vischer Ferry.

The pilot, James Quinn of Westerlo, remains at Albany Medical Center in critical condition.
