POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A 30-year-old Poughkeepsie man is dead, after police say he jumped out of a moving car Tuesday.

Poughkeepsie police say the man, who has not been identified, was sitting in the front passenger seat when he opened the car door and jumped out on Cathy Road. He died from his injuries and police ask anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call Town of Poughkeepsie police at (845) 485-3666.
