Salce sentenced to 16 years
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Halfmoon woman has been sentenced for attempted murder after officials say she stabbed her husband more than a dozen times.
Prosecutors say Lydia Salce attacked her husband, Michael McKee, back on August 11th of last year after a fight in their Halfmoon home. He was hospitalized at Albany Medical Center, but was later released.
Salce was also convicted of two counts of first degree felony assault. She was sentenced to 16 years in a state prison plus five years of post-release supervision.
