ALBANY, N.Y. -- SEFCU celebrates 24 years with Monday's annual Labor Day 5K.

The run is coordinated every year Hudson Mohawk Road Runner’s Club. And for the second time, SEFCU held an online vote for where the proceeds would go.

SEFCU President/CEO Michael Castellana said, "We've got 700 runners out here. We've raised about $30,000. And this year we're going to support three different veterans organizations."

Those organizations receiving money are Operation Adopt a Soldier, the Saratoga County RPC - VET HELP Program, and STRIDE Adaptive Sports Wounded Warrior Program.
