ALBANY, N.Y. -- The New York - New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force has arrested a wanted fugitive on attempted murder charges.

The task force, along with Albany Police, say they arrested Brian Jenkins Monday morning at a home on North Manning Boulevard. Officers say they found Jenkins thanks to an anonymous tip, after the tipster saw Jenkins on the news.

Police had been looking for Jenkins since at least August 22nd, when they sent out the alert to news stations.
