QUEENSBURY, N.Y. -- A Queensbury High student athlete was laid to rest today. Funeral services were held this morning for Johnathan Vasiliou.

Vasiliou died last week at Albany Med from a serious infection. Doctors thought it may have been some kind of bacterial meningitis, but testing couldn't determine exactly what it was.

Family and friends gathered Monday evening at a wake for the teen. Fellow athletes who played football with Vasiliou attended wearing their jerseys.
