Grant’s parents drop lawsuit and offer reward

SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The family of Alexander Grant, the teen who died last March after a night of partying at Skidmore College, is now dropping their lawsuit and offering a reward for any information leading to an arrest.

Back in April, Grant's parents filed a $5 million lawsuit against nine Saratoga County men for providing Grant and his friend, both of whom were underage, with alcohol.

Grant drowned while visiting friends in Saratoga Springs in March 2011.

The lawsuit said Grant drank alcohol in a Skidmore College dorm and a house party on Church Street.

No criminal charges were filed in Grant's death.
