ALBANY, N.Y. -- First it was two supermarkets; now it's a gas station and a convenience store. It's the latest ShopRite business to open up in the Capital Region.

The gas station is located at the corner of Central and Watervliet avenues, just a few blocks away from the Albany ShopRite.

Shoppers who use the store's discount card will be able to get a discount on gas there as well.

The Albany store opened in April and is the second store open in the Capital Region after the store in Niskayuna. A third store in Slingerslands is slated to open later this year.
