ALBANY, N.Y. -- The founder of Albany law firm Tully Rinckey has been awarded a Purple Heart after being wounded while serving in Afghanistan.
The law office says Matthew Tulley was wounded when a suicide bomber attacked his unit with an IED. He is recovering from his injuries and the firm expects him back in the spring of 2013.
Tully serves as a combat arms officer and his military career dates back to 1991. He founded the law firm after escaping from the World Trade Center on 9/11.
