SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- After taking a one year hiatus as a result of Tropical Storm Irene, the
annual Tugboat Roundup is this weekend on the Mohawk River.
Storm and flood damage caused by Irene forced the roundup to be cancelled last year. The roundup began in 1999 as a way to showcase historic boats and promote travel on the state's canal system.
Some of the tugs that was supposed to have been in the parade were used to help with flood damage cleanup along waterways.
