DAY, N.Y. -- A Caroga Lake man died after he was thrown from his motorcycle Sunday afternoon.

According to the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office, Paul Burgess, 57, was riding on North Shore Road in the Town of Day when he went around a curve and hit a guide rail.

He was taken to Albany Medical Center where he later died.
