MAYFIELD, N.Y. -- Toxicology results confirm Kathryn Jackson Alling, 54, had not ingested bath salts before she died last June.

Alling's body was found on the side of Tyrell Road in Mayfield, naked and severely beaten about a mile from where she was living. Her husband, Brent Scott Alling, remains a suspect, but District Attorney Louise Sira tells us he has exercised his right to remain silent.

Toxicology results also show that there was alcohol in Alling's system.

Sira said, "From here, the matter of her death is still under investigation. I'm awaiting final autopsy results, as well as some testing that's been submitted to the New York police lab. Once I have those pieces, I anticipate this case will head to a grand jury for a review of the complete circumstances in which Ms. Jackson died."

Sira tells us she's hopeful that will happen sometime this November.
