NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- Niskayuna and Schenectady police were still on the scene Monday night at what they say was a domestic situation in Niskayuna off Eastern Parkway. There was police presence in the neighborhood since around 5 p.m. Monday.

Neighbors looking on told YNN that they believed it had something to do with a mother and her son inside one of the homes. The neighbors also said there had been problems at that home in the past.

But police have not confirmed any of that information. They will only say it's a domestic situation.

The police and SWAT teams were still on the scene well into Monday night.
