ALBANY, N.Y. -- The 22nd annual Treatment Works March is encouraging people who are in need of treatment to reach out.
Mayor Jennings, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple and other local leaders joined the Hope House in a march. Organizers say they're marching in the West Hill area to raise awareness that treatment improves lives and everyone can help to make a difference.
"We need people that will volunteer, we need people that will contribute, we need people to make sure the message is there, that we care, because we can help people in difficult time and that is our goal here today, that is our goal every day," Jennings said.
The Hope House has been in the city for more than 40 years helping both the youth and adults.
