ALBANY COUNTY, N.Y. -- Finding a job isn't easy in this economy. But those looking for work got a boost on the job search at a holiday job fair at Crossgates Mall.

Booths were lined up outside stores looking for the extra help. Store managers interviewed applicants looking for anything from part time to full time work.

Job seekers are hopeful about the prospects of landing employment, especially with the holiday season coming up.

"It's tough out here and you need money and you want to give your children the things that they need. The job fair today looks promising today and hopefully, I get something out of it," one person said.

And as the holiday season approaches, for those of you counting, it's 102 days until Christmas.
