RENSSELAER, N.Y. -- The boil water advisory in the City of Rensselaer has been lifted.
The advisory went into effect last week after a car hit a fire hydrant on Washington Avenue. It affected several areas of the city along Washington Avenue from I-90 east to Route 4, including Van Allen Park and Eastland Park to the Mansions.
The advisory was lifted as of 9 a.m. Monday.
