Albany man gets 15 years for baseball bat assault
ALBANY, N.Y. -- An Albany man arrested for beating two women with a baseball bat over the summer was sentenced Tuesday to 15 years in prison.

Keith Bigger, 43, pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted assault after the district attorney's office said he broke into his ex-girlfriend's home through a window and beat her and another woman with an aluminum baseball bat back in June.

The two women suffered fractures to their arms and hands, as well as serious injuries to their faces and bodies.

Bigger was taken into custody in Maryland and was originally charged with burglary, assault, aggravated criminal contempt along with other charges.
